This church is based on three principles: Prayer, Faith and Love. For prayer move mountains; We walk by Faith and not by Sight; and Love hides a multitude of faults. This church is about making disciples for Jesus Christ our saviour. Through proclaiming the word of God and witnessing to all people. In this church, you will be able to feel and see God's love being manifested through works and deeds. Statement of Faith and What We Preach At Genesis New Life Church Minstry: We believe in the triune God: Father, Son, Holy Ghost We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person We believe Jesus is the Son of the Living God We believe that Jesus Christ is True God and Man We believe in the Death, Burial and Resurrection And the ascension of Jesus Christ our Savior We believe in the Ressurrection of the Dead Just and Unjust, In the Gospel Church and Christian Baptism, In observance of the Lord's Supper, In one God, one Faith, one Baptism, In Repentance, In Regeneration, In Salvation In Justification In Sanctification In the Holy Scripture: All Scripture was given by the inspiration of God In Jesus Christ who is the way to Salvation, In the Fall of Man, In Jesus Christ as our Savior.

Pastor David L. Hudson was given a vision from our Mighty Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ to begin a New Ministry in the Jackson area. For the Lord said unto him, go out and build my church and minister the word of God to those that are unsaved. Pastor Hudson held an organizational meeting on July 5th 2002 with nine faithful followers. At this meeting , Pastor Hudson shared his vision with all present and asked for support as he ventured forward with what God has laid upon him. The original officers were appointed as such: Henry Mosley- Deacon Board; Tonja Mosley, Financial Secretary; Malika Hudson- Church Clerk; Meshall Aaron Asst. Church Clerk; Diane Diallo- Usher Board/Pastor Aide Committee. Another organizational meeting was held , a new name for the church was created- Genesis New Life Church Ministry was established. We were incorporated in October 9th 2002. The Church moved forward and continues to enjoy the Lord's blessings while always remembering our mission. On November 23, 2003 we joined the Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship. Participating in this fellowship will provide support and create a relationship with others in the crusade of serving the Lord with the full heart. Today we have approximately 75 members and we are on fire for the Lord. Pastor Hudson teaches us to have Faith and trust in the Lord. He is a great teacher and motivator. Our prayer is that we continue to grow in the Lord and make disciples for Jesus Christ.
